The Alliance Theatre and The Atlanta Opera announce that, due to the exceptional demand for tickets, a performance has been added to the sold-out run of The Shining, now playing on the Coca-Cola Stage at the Woodruff Arts Centre. The additional show is on Friday, September 29 at 8:00pm. Tickets are now available online at https://www.alliancetheatre.org/production/2023-24/the-shining.
The Shining, an opera by composer Paul Moravec and librettist Mark Campbell based on the novel by Stephen King, is a co-production of The Alliance Theatre and The Atlanta Opera in a groundbreaking collaboration. The run opened in previews this past weekend, (Sep 15, 16, 17, 2023), to full houses and enthusiastic standing ovations.
