WOODSTOCK GA, — Woodstock Arts has kicked off their “Season of Wonder” with the newest adaptation of the classic murder-thriller DIAL M FOR MURDER! Based on the classic play that inspired the beloved Alfred Hitchcock film! After marrying his wife Margot for her money, Tony is convinced that she’s having an affair – but as the affair comes to an end Tony weaves a web of suspicion, deception, and betrayal that draws their world in tighter and leads to danger and yes – murder.

“We know that our audiences love a good mystery, and when thinking about the Season of Wonder, I wanted to find the perfect play that engages our audience – a mystery where we are working through and watching everything happen in front of our eyes” says Artistic Director Zach Stolz, “DIAL M strikes that perfect balance of a classic murder-mystery like MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS but a whole new thriller element for our audiences. It’s tense, it’s fun, and you’ll be guessing what comes next until the lights come back up.”

With shows at 7:30 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and 2:30 PM shows on Sundays, this show is a perfect date night to close out the summer – and stay cool. This is a show with a contemporary twist on a classic thriller, a tight-paced, constantly moving, shifting, and evolving thriller that will have you on the edge of your seat for the entire shows. If you are a fan of thrillers, mysteries, and trying to solve the case before the Detective can – then this is a show you must see.

DIAL M FOR MURDER will be running on the Woodstock Arts’ stage August 16 through September 1, 2024. Tickets are available on woodstockarts.org and for sale at the door. The show runs approximately two hours with an intermission included, and it is recommended for ages 12 and up!
