ATLANTA, GA – Theatrical Outfit, located at the Balzer Theater at Herren’s on Luckie Street in downtown Atlanta, continues its 2018-2019 Season of Beauty with the Atlanta premiere of The Pitmen Painters, British writer Lee Hall’s (Billy Elliot) dramatization of William Feaver’s book about a real-life group of English miners from the Geordie region who become unexpected stars of the high society art circles of London between the World Wars. Both comedic and stirring, The Pitmen Painters, directed by Adam Koplan(Artistic Director of Flying Carpet Theatre Company and director of The Outfit’s 2018 hit Perfect Arrangement), features an all-Atlanta ensemble and runs February 27 – March 24, 2019.

But every day, they still risk their lives down in the mine.
