Spring has officially sprung and to celebrate, Aurora Theatre is inviting theatergoers to join in the seasonal fun! With family-friendly programming such as Aurora Theatre Academy’s Pajama Jam and the Aurora Children’s Playhouse production of Georgia Grown, parents and children are sure to have an educational, theater-packed spring break! Adult friends of the theater can also enjoy the warmer weather outdoors with the free performance of In The Heights on the Lawrenceville Lawn. With so much in store, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this April!
Aurora Theatre Academy: Pajama Jam
Thursday, April 4
10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Tuition $37 for each session and includes lunch
Pajama Jam is the Aurora Theatre Academy’s 2019 spring break workshop for students grades one through eight. Attendees can choose one day or both to enjoy the break in pajamas with improv games, breakfast for lunch and more! Pajama Jam will accommodate a range of ages with three groups per day, with sessions for grades one to three, four to five and six to eight. For more information, visit bit.ly/ATPajamaJam.
Aurora Children’s Playhouse
Saturdays at 10 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.*

Aurora Children’s Playhouse brings together the best children’s performers in the region to showcase their artistry for parents and children. Featuring puppeteers, magicians, storytellers and musicians, this 45-minute show is intended to give children their first theatrical experience through a lively production, sure to capture the attention of the whole family! Georgia Grown

Held at the Children’s Museum of Atlanta, Georgia Grown is an educational mini-musical and special special spring break production of Aurora Children’s Playhouse! This show will take audiences on a captivating journey through Georgia to learn how plants and trees are important to our lives.
Un Mundo de Cuentos
Saturday, April 13
Master storyteller Barry Stewart Mann returns with a whole new world of stories! This bilingual show will grip viewers with its entertaining tales of the Spanish-speaking world. Enjoy theatrical storytelling with inventive movement with Juan Bobo and the Pig from Puerto Rico, Mamá, Mamá, Ayúdame from Mallorca, Coyote and Mouse from Mexico and Cinco Huevos from Ecuador. ¡Les espera un mundo de diversión!
Acting on Camera for Teens
Saturday, April 20
