Lawrenceville theatergoers of all ages invited to enjoy Stephen Schwartz musical, comedy nights and more!

Summer is officially heating up in Atlanta! To celebrate, Aurora Theatre is bringing the fun with a collection of hot performances that are sure to outshine the Georgia sun! Adult audiences can kick back with endless laughs, courtesy of some of Atlanta’s best comedians at Laughing Skull Comedy. Lovers of culture can also enjoy as Teatro Aurora, Atlanta’s singular professional Spanish language theater, brings esteemed lecturer, writer and actress Laura Chimaras to perform her transcending show Hackea Tu Realidad. On the mainstage, Children of Eden will teach the power of love and forgiveness through a captivating performance of Biblical beginnings. Despite the rising temps, summer chills are pervasive on the square during Lawrenceville Ghost Tours, sure to give lots of spooky thrills!With a diverse lineup of shows for the whole family, Aurora Theatre has something for everyone this summer!

Laughing Skull’s Best of Atlanta Comedy
Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27
7:15 p.m. and 9:15 p.m.

Those who love to laugh are invited to Aurora Theatre, as Laughing Skull Comedy presents the Best of Atlanta Comedy. Atlanta remains one of the leading providers of top comedic talent in the nation, and this performance will showcase about a dozen of the city’s best with their finest six to seven minutes of material. Hackea Tu Realidad 
July 28 at 8 p.m.
Laura Chimaras, a globally recognized lecturer, writer and Latin American actress, is headed for Teatro Aurora! During her Spanish language show, Hackea Tu Realidad (Hack Your Reality), she will illuminate truth and wisdom by braiding together testimony, art and poetry into an inspirational piece that has altered the fate of thousands of people. Children of Eden

Telling the tale of the Book of Genesis in two acts, this family-friendly masterpiece with book by John Caird and music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz covers the story of creation and the great flood – all while examining the complex love between parents and children. Lawrenceville Ghost Tours
Fridays and Saturdays at 8:30 p.m.
Adults $12, Children $9
For years, the Lawrenceville Ghost Tours have told tales about Gwinnett County’s spookiest spots. Guests can take 90-minute guided tours around metro-Atlanta’s oldest city and hear stories of its history and paranormal activity. The tour begins and ends at Aurora Theatre and runs May through September, with tours continuing every night in October.
