Lakeview Academy has outdone themselves with their performance of SOMETHING ROTTEN! This show is Speakeysie HIGHLY recommended.

Joe Harris, Lakeview’s Assistant Director told me the kids only worked for three weeks to put this show up. That is incredible as this is a very dance and vocal heavy performance, and they pull it off flawlessly! Of course, they have an excellent Director and Cece Conrath, along with what I call the GTA factor—Gainesville Theatre Alliance alumni Joe Harris, Rane Hoge, and Jamey Hoge add so much to the Lakeview program with their experience and expertise. In addition, music director Gretchen Plummer produced stunning vocals and Leah Adcock kept these performers in their toes with her incredible choreography. The entire production team created a show that was a feast for the eyes and ears.

Not only that, the content of this show is side stitch funny for anyone who loves and knows Broadway musicals, loves Shakespeare, or just enjoys musical entertainment.
