ARIELLE JACOBS (Delilah) Most recently seen on Broadway as Princess Jasmine in Disney’s Aladdin, Arielle Jacobs has been called “one of the greatest theater artists of her generation” with a “powerful voice” who “could sing her way to world peace.” Arielle made her Broadway debut starring opposite creator Lin-Manuel Miranda in the final Broadway cast of the four-time Tony® and Grammy Award® winning musical In The Heights. Praised as “compelling” and “radiant” by Variety Magazine and “Powerful” by The New York Times, Ms. Jacobs has continued to wow audiences ever since with starring roles in Wicked on Broadway, Disney’s Aladdin (both on Broadway and in the Australian premiere production), Rent (Mimi), Disney’s High School Musical (originating Gabriella in the stage musical), Into the Woods (Baker’s Wife) where she performed opposite Emmy-nominated actor Tituss Burgess, and more. Arielle starred Off-Broadway in two world-premiere plays by Pulitzer-winning playwright Nilo Cruz including the one-woman show “Farhad or the Secret of Being” (which Lincoln Center Public Library in NYC chose to film for their musical theater archives) and has performed on stage in many of America’s greatest concert halls including Jazz at Lincoln Center in NYC, The Kennedy Center in Washington DC, Symphony Hall in Boston, and many more beside legendary artists such as Wynton Marsalis, Chaka Khan, and Stephen Schwartz. She has performed her solo show “A Leap In The Dark”, and in front of symphony orchestras, to rave reviews around the world in Abu Dhabi, Israel, Italy, Athens, Miami, New Orleans, Panama City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Vancouver, Tokyo, Taiwan, and more. Ms. Jacobs is the founder of The Girls Camaraderie Project, an organization working to build camaraderie and community instead of competition among middle-school girls. JAKE DAVID SMITH (Prince Oliver) is an actor born and raised in Richmond, Virginia and he is thrilled finally take the stage with the cast of Between The Lines! He made his Broadway debut in Disney’s Frozen. JULIA MURNEY (Grace/Queen Maureen) appeared on Broadway as Elphaba in Wicked after playing the role on the national tour, for which she received an Acclaim Award. Other New York credits include Lennon, The Wild Party (Drama Desk nomination), The Vagina Monologues, Falling (Drama Desk nomination), A Class Act, Baby, The Landing, Queen of the Mist, and Time and Again (Lucille Lortel nomination). She’s been seen regionally all over the U.S. and has had the pleasure of doing concerts with symphonies from Carnegie Hall to The Kennedy Center, in Malaysia and Maui & a lot of spots in between. Among her TV credits are “Madam Secretary,” “30 Rock,” “Sex and the City,” “Succession,” all the “Law and Orders,” “First You Dream,” and about a gazillion voiceovers. John originated the role of the D’Ysquith Family in the first national tour of A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder. (Broadway Sacramento) The Play That Goes Wrong (St. Louis Rep), The Drowsy Chaperone (Goodspeed), and The Hollow, John’s one-actor adaptation of The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (Amphibian Stage). VICKI LEWIS (Ms. Winx/Jessamyn/Jacobs/Mrs. Brown/Kyrie) most recently starred as Countess Lili in Anastasia on Broadway. Other Broadway credits include Chicago and Damn Yankees. She appeared in Pal Joey for NYC Encores and as a soloist at Carnegie Hall. She starred as Beth on the critically acclaimed NBC series “NewsRadio” for its full run of 6 seasons. She also appeared on “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” “The Goldbergs,” “How I Met Your Mother,” “Modern Family,” “The Blacklist,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Angie Tribeca,” “Doll & Em,” “Melissa & Joey,” “Bones, “Murphy Brown” and “Seinfeld.” Films include The Ugly Truth, Breakfast of Champions, Mousehunt and Godzilla. She has voiced hundreds of animation characters, most notably Deb/Flo in Pixar’s blockbuster films, Finding Nemo and Finding Dory.
SEAN STACK (Martin/Troll/Dad/Delivery Person) is a Miami-raised actor and maker. He is thrilled to be making his Off-Broadway debut in Between the Lines. He recently appeared on the Williamstown Theater Festival’s audio production of ROW, available on Audible, and in 9 to 5 at North Carolina Theater. Past work also includes co-writing and co-producing War Stories at the 2019 Minnesota Fringe Festival, as well as co-creating the performance group Cavemyn in the Club while in school. AUBREY MATALON (u/s Delilah, Jules/Ondine, Allie/Princess Seraphima, Janice/Marisa) is a third-generation theatre kid with family who has worked in London’s West End and on Broadway. Aubrey grew up between New York and Los Angeles and got the full bi-coastal treatment as well as being a dual national US/UK citizen. LA theatre credits include singing at The Walt Disney Concert Hall as the winner of the 2018 Spotlight Award (Non-Classical Voice), Elderhood directed by Randy Brenner with the Creating Musical Theatre Lab program at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts. Other credits include Chrissy in Becoming Nancy (Lab) directed by Jerry Mitchell and Crissy in Hair at the Asolo Repertory Theatre directed by Josh Rhodes. (Spot the pattern?) While embracing an actor’s journey, Aubrey is additionally focused on developing skills as a director and writer. Aubrey was recently the assistant director for the Off-Broadway premiere of A Commercial Jingle for Regina Comet at the DR2 theatre written by Alex Wyse and Ben Fankhauser, and directed by Marshall Pailet. Aubrey recently co-wrote a 10-minute musical parody about the trials and tribulations of the musical theatre college audition process! Aubrey’s first onscreen appearance was representing the “letter of the day” B for Baby on Sesame Street. Since that time, Aubrey learned to walk and talk.
DAN HOY (Understudy) is ecstatic to join the Between the Lines family for his off-Broadway debut!
