LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (April 11, 2024) – Spring has sprung, and entertainment is in full bloom across the Lawrenceville Arts Center Campus. A vast array of concert events covers a wide range of music genres. The premier concert event is Coreyah making their Atlanta debut, from South Korea on an 8- city US tour. Other concerts include To The Limit: The Ultimate Eagles Experience, El Grupo Huellas and So Unusual-A Tribute to Cyndi Lauper. Family fun covers the arts center like spring pollen covers your vehicle. For a 2nd consecutive year Día de Los Niños y Niñas! comes to LAC in partnership with the of Mexican Consulate, headlining a packed slate of events for families. Another spotlight event is the first ever food festival at LAC, Festival Gastronómico: Sabores de Mi Tierra celebrating the culinary arts. Also, included in the bouquet of entertaining events are live comedy nights, drag bingo, an artist reception, and free movies on the LAC big screen.

To The Limit: The Ultimate Eagles Experience pays homage to one of the most iconic rock bands of all time, The Eagles. Georgia Players Guild transports audiences back to the golden era of rock and roll. Each band member brings their own unique skill set and passion for The Eagles’ music, resulting in a performance that is both authentic and electrifying. This show will give every Desperado and Witchy Woman that Peaceful Easy Feeling of a Tequila Sunrise at Hotel California.

 

Rock the Pantry- this event features a food drive to benefit the Lawrenceville Co-Op, the designated food pantry serving people in need in Lawrenceville and Dacula.

Can’t wait for the Aurora Theatre Season 28 finale, Sist Act: A Divine Musical? Neither can we, so we are gearing up with a showing of the movie that started it all. Sister Act is a 1992 American musical crime comedy starring Whoopi Goldberg as a lounge singer forced to join a convent after being placed in a witness protection program. It also features Maggie Smith, Kathy Najimy, Wendy Makkena, Mary Wickes, and Harvey Keitel.
