Spend your Summer Solstice with Serendipity Players’ A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM

Serendipity Players, the community theater branch of the newly formed Spartan Performing Arts Academy will be performing William Shakespeare’s A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM for the Summer Solstice. Come enjoy this favorite classic comedy of love, fairies, and mischief outside at the Spartan Theatron and bring a picnic dinner or purchase dinner at the venue.

Co-Directed by SPAA Director Jody Key and Gainesville Theater Alliance alumni Zachariah Ivins, this show features some great local talent: GTA Alums Zachariah Ivins (Lysander), Princess Sampson (Titania/Hippolyta), Kaitlin Dunn (Bottom), Kenehen Shotwell (Demetruis), and Sydney Rorbaugh (Hermia); current GTA student Darian Payne (Helena); Kenessaw University’s Sierra Schade (Puck);  Mountian View High School’s Marcus McGhee (Oberon/Theseus) and Oliva Van Hoose (Cobweb/Tom Snout); Artios Academy’s Emily Dugger (Peasblossom/Snug the Joiner; Cherokee Bluff’s Seth Martin (Francis Flute); and SPAA’s Jody Key (Robin Starveling), Chloe Ivins (Peter Quince), Autumn Donaghe (Mustardseed/Philostrate), and Hector Hernandez (Moth).

Showtimes are Friday, June 21st and Saturday, June 22nd at the SPOT (Spartan Outdoor Theatron) at West Hall Middle School, 5470 McEver Rd, Oakwood Georgia. Bring a blanket or lawn chairs and a picnic dinner, or buy dinner at the venue. Doors open at 7:00 PM, show is at 8:00 PM and tickets are only $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for students and seniors and can be purchased at the door.
